  • What does the program include?

    The program includes biweekly Zoom meetings; accelerator learning sessions; peer feedback roundtables; hotseats; 1:1 coaching calls; and a private Slack channel. Training culminates in a live storytelling event in the Lexington, KY area.

    The program fee is $5,400 (9 months @ $600 per month). You can also pay up front for $4,800 (and save $600).

    ** Travel and lodging costs associated with the live event in Kentucky are not included in the program fee (i.e., they're additional and paid by the trainee).

    Biweekly Zoom meetings will be conducted, providing regular opportunities for learning, sharing, and networking.

    Yes, participants will have access to 1:1 coaching calls with The TED Talk Whisperer to address specific challenges and goals.

  • What is the live event in Kentucky? And, can I apply if I'm not based in Kentucky?

    The program culminates with a live event during the engaging More Tales Storytelling Festival in the Bluegrass region. Our gathering will dovetail with the storytelling festival programming.

    Note: Costs associated with travel and lodging for the live event in Kentucky are not included in the program fee.

    You can apply to program if you are from anywhere in the United States and Canada. The live event in Kentucky is just one component, and the rest of the program is accessible online.

    Peer feedback is facilitated through roundtable sessions and hotseats, creating a supportive environment for constructive input from fellow participants.

  • What is the advantage of a curated and limited number of participants?

  • Will this training prepare me to give a TED Talk?

    No. This is not a TED Talk speaker coaching program. If you want to take it further, you’ll be given suggestions for a number of options (DIY, mini-course, solo coaching, etc.). For example, if you want to deliver a TED-caliber message, we offer a course called the mySHORTtalk training, which is the full-blown, soup-to-nuts course. Devin and his certified coaches also work 1:1 with speakers.
